ABOUT ME
A Brief but Comprehensive History
Jack D’Emilio is a New York based actor. I'm Jack D'Emilio, actually - writing these very words you're reading right now. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, so I try to embody the spirit of brotherly love wherever I go, especially onstage. During my studies at Manhattan School of Music, I was lucky enough to be a part of the casts of Spring Awakening (dir. Chloe Treat), And the World Goes ‘Round (dir. Alex Sanchez), and Where’s Charley? (Charley Wykeham; dir. Catie Davis). I have also spent much time as a student and Artistic Intern for The Performing Arts Project, training as a part of a new generation of bold, compassionate artists. I believe in the power of theatre to connect us all through our shared experiences of joy, pain, and everything in between. Most recently, I was in The Argyle Theater's production of A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge/Ensemble; dir. Evan Pappas). Currently. I am working a variety of odd-jobs in the city like every other actor, and helping to develop Dunesical, an original Off-Broadway parody musical. Check back soon for my first onscreen role in Speck, a movie written and directed by up-and-coming director (and my brother!) Justin D'Emilio. Thanks for reading!
